We started with a very safe tune to break in the new engine. It was a little on the rich side and very low timing for the first 700 miles. Greg at RET in Bellflower dialed in the tune on the dyno. We are still conservative on timing with 12 degrees at WOT. Air/Fuel is in the 11’s. Ended up with 503 rwhp at 6500 rpm. We are only seeing 9 lbs. of boost which is on the low side.
Next up will be a smaller pulley. Greg estimates with 5 more pounds of boost we should be in the 550 rwhp range. Our fuel system is also capable of using e85. We should see another 100 horsepower once we make the switch.
